The Climate

The South West of France it is warmer than England with a lot more sun. Over the year we get about the same amount of rain as England but the summers are usually hot, sunny and dry. If it does rain, it's not cold, and when the sun comes out the place is dry in an hour or so. The sandy soil drains quickly and mud simply doesn't exist here.

These graphs, created from official statistics, give some idea of the difference in climate between Bordeaux and London. We are south of Bordeaux and the weather here is even better.
