Les Arbres, a large, comfortable villa on two floors, with everything you could wish for. Each floor has its own bedrooms, conservatory, patio, and access to the garden. Add to that a games room, a pool and large garden and you have the ideal place to share with friends or family for that very special holiday.

Les Arbres can take up to 15 people but 12-13 is probably best to give everyone loads of space. Please confirm with us if you would like to bring a higher number.

Here's what the villa has to offer:

On the upper floor

• Large living room with comfortable leather suite, English TV, DVD player, and a great stereo system that you can connect your iPod or MP3 player to.
• Well equipped kitchen with fridge/freezer, oven, hob, microwave, and dishwasher.
• Conservatory with dining table for six to eight people. Access to the garden.
• Bathroom with bath and shower.
• Double bedroom with double bed and en-suite shower room. This bedroom is at the front, looking directly into the forest.
• Double bedroom with double bed. View over back garden.
• Double bedroom with two single beds. View over back garden.
• All bedrooms have wardrobes, bedside tables, fan, etc.

On the lower floor

• Large entrance hall.
• Large conservatory/den with table for four people, comfy sofas for four people, English TV, video player and video library, and large coffee table. Access to the garden.
• Large bedroom with four single beds plus spare fold-up bed.
• Kitchenette with drinks fridge, microwave, and kettle.
• Utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer.
• Shower room (with a shower cubicle big enough for two)
• Study with sofa, sofa-bed, desk, and computer. The sofa-bed can be used as a double bed if you wish, but we don't count this as a bedroom as you have to go through it to get to the next bedroom. It's an ideal place for a travel cot.
• Double bedroom with wardrobe and double bed.

Equipment

Cleaning products and equipment are provided, or we can arrange a mid-stay clean for a small additional charge.

Wireless broadband internet is provided free of charge, and in the study there's a desk with a comfy office chair and a computer with a 17" flat screen, internet access, a headset, and speakers.

We can provide one high chair and two travel cots with blankets, but please bring your own cot sheets. For families with crawlers and toddlers, please note that there are both internal and external steps.

Outside

The garden is fully enclosed by fences and hedges, and offers plenty of space to play or relax. An automatic watering system keeps the grass green and healthy even in the hot summer months. There's a charcoal barbecue, and a large dining table for 12 people. There's also a covered games room, with a table tennis table, dart board, and a big box of pool and beach toys.

Various sun loungers and other items of outdoor furniture are provided.

There are currently three bikes that you can use free of charge although we don't guarantee their availability or safety. These are basic bikes, fine for going to the beach or the shops, but keen cyclists will want to hire something better. There are several hire shops locally.

The Pool

The 8m x 4m swimming pool was installed in 2007, and has automatic sanitation systems for crystal clear water and safe, hygienic bathing. It has a rigid, conservatory type cover, which has several advantages over other types of cover:

• It is the best form of pool security, conforming to a French standard that requires it to withstand the weight of a 100kg man. When closed, it is completely child-proof.
• It acts like a greenhouse and a duvet, so our pool can be up to ten degrees warmer than an open pool at the same latitude.
• It keeps the pool completely clean and free from leaves, pollen, and other debris which can compromise the water quality of open pools, or pools with floating covers.

The cover is motorised and is very easy to open and close. We'll show you how it works when you arrive. The pool will be checked and cleaned or maintained as necessary several times during your stay, usually first thing in the morning.

Other Information

The villa is in a very quiet residential road used only by the local residents. There's plenty of off road parking space.

Smoking is not allowed inside the villa. There are some ash-trays outside.

We will consider well behaved pets but please make contact with details before booking.
